Act out your prayer


  • Light a candle

  • Try out different postures - sit, kneel, stand, hold out your hands

  • Write your prayers on a pebble and keep it in your pocket to remind you to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

  • Make a prayer labyrinth using tape or string, or create a mini one using paper

  • Express your prayers out loud - weep, laugh, cry out in anger or desperation. God can take all our emotions!

  • Go for a walk or run and ask God to draw your attention to Him through your surroundings

  • Plant a seed, water it and watch it grow, remembering that God’s timing is always perfect, even if it may feel slow to you!
