Easter at st peter’s
You are invited to celebrate with us at church this easter.
SUNday 29 March | 9am & 10.30am
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday; a day to celebrate Jesus establishing His kingdom of peace and joy. Our normal 9am and 10.30am services are happening as usual, here at St Peter’s.
thursday 2 april | 4.30pm
Maundy Thursday is a moment for community and sharing, as we mark the Last Supper where Jesus served his followers and friends. All are welcome, including families and children who want to share in this moment together - we will end in a time of quiet reflection for those who would like to stay.
friday 3 april | 12-3pm
Hosted by Art + Soul, our community group of artists and makers, we journey together in thankfulness and hope on the day of Jesus’ death and sacrifice. There is time to explore our ‘Stations’, including art and interactive spaces both indoor and outdoor, culminating in an act and moment of worship in the church.
sunday 20 april | 10.30am (and lunch)
Jesus is alive! One of our favourite days of the year as we join together as one big family (please note, no 9am service) to celebrate new life in Jesus. We will be having a number of baptisms during the morning, followed by a church lunch (bring-and-share food encouraged) and we can’t wait!
