st Peter’s @ THE ORGAN FACTORY

SUNDAY GATHERINGS
9AM AND 10.30AM

SUN 18 JAN, SUN 25 JAN,
& SUN 1 FEB 2026

For three weeks, St Peter’s will be meeting just next door in The Organ Factory, due to heating and boiler issues. Please find all details here but do email us if you have any queries.

  • For three weeks, St. Peter's Sunday gatherings will be moving location to the Organ Factory (St Peter's Close, E27AF, opposite side of St. Peter's Bethnal Green car park). You can access the Organ Factory through the St. Peter's gardens at the rear of the church, or by following St. Peter's Close around the corner to the left of the front church doors and into the car park (see map below). There will be familiar St Peter's faces both at the front door of the church (which will be closed) and the front doors of The Organ Factory.

  • Services will take place at the same times as usual, 9am for our traditional communion service, and 10.30am for our informal gathering. Tea, coffee, and refreshments will be served as usual at The Organ Factory with time together to catch up at 10am.

  • Yes! We are meeting on the ground floor and there are no stairs or inclines to enter or exit the building.

  • Likely yes, but that is okay! We will keep to as much of the familiar things as possible - same communion, prayers, worship, and community but just in a different place. We still get to come together to thank God, glorify Jesus, and encounter the Holy Spirit as we do each week, and what is amazing is that God shows up wherever we are. The main difference is the next door location and the fact it will be significantly warmer!

  • Yes, there will! We are able to warm the back rooms of the church so after worship our kids will be able to go to their familiar groups in the familiar church rooms a few seconds walk away. Creche-aged children and infants will be able to stay in the main meeting space with a comfortable area to play and rest in.

  • We want to be back as soon as we possibly can be, but right now we just don't know the timeline for working heating in the building to get it comfortable and safe for gatherings. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for the team as we explore the options as quickly as we can, and we will be in touch with you when there is further updates.

  • Please speak to your midweek group leader for news and updates about midweek events like Art and Soul (Ali) or Little Stars (Abi). They will be keeping in touch via their usual channels, but it is likely in the short-term at least that midweek groups will need to change location or be cancelled.

  • We will be using the Organ Factory's toilets (which are very nice) so please do not try and access the St. Peter's facilities unless you are a part of the kids work team or staff team. Also, we will likely need hands and help to set down as quickly as possible at the end of the gatherings so please jump in if you are able after speaking to one of the team.
